What Replenishment Engine does for you

The InvenPro replenishment engine calculates the precise order quantity for every replenishable SKU — factoring in current stock, on-order quantity, lead time, days of stock, MOQ, and demand velocity. It runs in real time on every page load.

⚖️

MOQ & UOM Rounding

Automatically rounds order quantities up to the minimum order quantity and unit-of-measure for each vendor.

🗓️

Lead Time Formula

Order quantity = (lead_time + days_of_stock) × velocity − current_stock − on_order + min_stock.

📦

On-Order Deduction

Subtracts quantities already on open purchase orders so you never over-order.

🔴

Critical Alerts

Items where days-until-stockout ≤ lead time are flagged as critical and sorted to the top.

Common questions about Replenishment Engine

How is the replenishment quantity calculated?
Formula: (lead_time_days + days_of_stock) × daily_velocity − current_stock − on_order_qty. The result is rounded up to the nearest MOQ.
What does "on-order deduction" mean?
If you already have an open purchase order for a product, that quantity is subtracted so InvenPro does not suggest re-ordering what is already coming.
Can I set a maximum stock cap?
Yes. Set a "max stock" value per product to prevent over-ordering. InvenPro caps the suggested quantity so your warehouse is never oversupplied.
Does it work with multiple warehouses?
Yes. Replenishment can be calculated per warehouse or consolidated across all locations depending on your warehouse grouping settings.
